Beyonce is getting ready to launch her new activewear women’s clothing line, called Ivy Park in April.
The collection, at least at this point, appears to be entirely made up of activewear. She mad the announcement on her Instagram page, “@weareivypark,” the official account for the new brand.
The collection consist of muscle tanks, tees, sports bras, headbands, bathing suits, hats, and sweatshirts. While no official price range has been released, Ivy Park will launch in stores and online on April 14.
Ivy Park is reportedly a joint venture with Sir Philip Green, the chairman of Acadia Group, which owns Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, and more, hence the decision to sell directly through those retailers.
Speaking on the new line, Bey said, ‘Sir Philip (Topshop) has created some amazing collaborations but I wanted a partnership and a stand-alone brand.
‘When I’m working and rehearsing, I live in my workout clothes, but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me.
‘My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.’
