#TecnoOwnTheStage: Shaapera Wins First Ever African Karaoke Contest
Over the last three months, 15 contestants from Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania contested through a number of themed challenges, which saw Shapeera finally emerging as Africa’s first karaoke champion.
Shaapera won the grand prize of $25,000, a Phantom 5 smartphone and the chance to record a song with one of the judges. He will also get the chance to record a music video and tour with a popular music act.
The winner’s party took place at Club Quilox at 9:00pm with friends, well wishers celebrities in attendance.
